Black Friday.. Or crazy Friday?

So I never use to be a big, "Black Friday shopper..." and then I turned 17, and suddenly got my license. I asked my darling friend Megan if she had ever shopped on it and she said yes, and I decided I wanted too. So here I am 20 years old, and 3 years later and I have become an ADDICT!!! This year I went with one of mah girls, Susanne, and boy was it crazy!!!! So Susanne "slept over" (if you call 3 hours of sleep, sleeping over... then yes haha) So Susanne came over around 9ish-9:30 and our night of adventure began!

The Coffee:
I get tired very easily, so coffee was a must! Susanne's cousin asked us to go to Toys R us with her, so we agreed. The coffee finished Brewing, and Susie P and I were out!!!

The Fail:
So we picked up Sus' cousin and went to toys R us in Paramus. Now in Jersey we have something called a "Bergen County Blue Law" (which I forgot about) All of the ads were saying, 10 P.M DOOR BUSTERS!!!! So the three of us arrived around 10:30 and...

...
NO ONE WAS THERE EXCEPT ONE CAR!!!!!!! So I offered to go to a few others, but hopes had sort of been lost at that point. So we dropped off Susanne's cousin and went back to my house. We were going to shop somewhere else, but decided SOME sleep was must. We slept on my couch from 12-3.

Target Time:
Sooo, 3:00 A.M our alarms go off! We fix ourselves up, and head over to Target. At first It didn't look to bad, then we got close and saw the LONG line people. We soon parked and sat in my car enjoying the last few minutes of heat. We were debating going to Kohl's, but we did not! Susanne and I hopped in that line around 3:30 and STOOD IN THE FREEZING COLD/RAIN for a little less than an hour. To be honest it wasn't horrible, I like the cold, so half of me didn't mind. So now the line is moving. We were wrapped around the block, and as we were walking we saw some lady trying to cut. First of all, this woman had her like 1 year old child... out at 4:00 in the morning...WITHOUT SHOES!!!! like WHAT THE HELL! WHAT KIND OF IDIOT PARENT WOULD TAKE THEIR TODDLER OUT THAT EARLY IN THE FREEZING COLD WITHOUT SHOES? To be honesty, I probably wouldn't be criticizing her as much, had she not annoyed the CRAP out of me. So this lady cuts in front of the guys behind us, and somewhere in the crowd I hear someone scream "HEY LADY THE LINE STARTS BACK THERE!!!" Well the sad excuse for a parent didn't speak English, so she ignored her. So now we are walking and taking little steps because it is basically a single file line. THE WOMAN WAS ON TOP OF ME!!!!! LITERALLY, HER AND HER CHILD WERE TOUCHING MY WHOLE BACK!!! I am a bitch, especially when I am tired and cold, so I was start "talking/yelling" to Susanne. Then her demon child starts kicking Susanne, and they were yelling in some Indian language.

FINALLY MADE IT INTO TARGET!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, so coming in you had to go straight, you couldn't make a left and head for the electronics. So there are tons of lame door busters, and we finally made it to the electronics. After searching through things, I finally found some of the things I desired. Susanne bought some stuff, funny enough, practically none of it was on sale. Everyone was buying TVs, at this point we almost felt like we should. So now were in line to pay, I am completely zoned out at this point. While I am living in my somehow awake fantasy world, some man knocks into Susanne with his television. I had no reaction hahaha, soo finally around 5:30, Susanne and I have survived Target and made it to the car!!!!

Starvin like Marvin:
So as Susanne and I rejoiced our purchases, our stomachs were starting the war of hunger. We first tried the LD, but they opened at 6, and God knows we couldn't wait, so we went to the N.A Diner :] Many other black Friday shoppers were also there. We ate a yummy breakfast, got rejuvenated and headed to Jersey Gardens Mall.

Jersey Gardens:
The drive wasn't bad at all... now the parking was a different story. We drove around JG for a good 20 minutes following people and hunting down spaces. We finally see a bunch of guys leaving and they said we could take their space. The guys took their time, and as they start to back out, some DICK tried to take out space, but the boys wouldn't let him, so he left and we got the space. Finally some kindness from strangers!!! So we had in the mall and it is PACKED, but the mall is so big it wasn't a huge deal. The first store we hit was Victoria's Secret, we journeyed half way across the mall and finally found it! We waited in a short line and VS was NUTS!!!! I could barely move! I did end up getting some good deals though. We went to H&M, Bath and Body, Game Stop, but everything else sucked. We went in the line for Juicy and we got free lolly pops. We then ended up leaving due to lack of patience. I went to the store DEB where everything was 50% off, but I ended up being to lazy. We shopped around a little more, but finally ended up going home.

Movie time:
We decided to take some time out to relax and watched the Hangover. We had some good giggles and it felt nice to rest.

MommaDukes:
My mother joined us for our next escapade to Barnes and Noble. We were all starving again, so we ended up at another diner hahah. We then went to Barnes and Noble and I bought a few more things. We then went to Mandees, and I talked to my managers for a little. Then Susanne departed from us and went home :/

Quiet:
The rest of the day was pretty quiet, I ended up going to Rite Aid, and then I decided I was done with shopping. I am now just relaxing on the couch, waiting to see what comes next.

I call this black Friday... SUCCESSFUL!
