Ash Wednesday

I love being a Catholic. haha It is random but I love my religion so much!
Today is Ash Wednesday, the start of Lent! I hope everyone has made a Lenten promise!

Is it just me or did Lent come SO fast!? I Feel like Christmas was like last week! That could possibly be, because of the snow. :)

If anyone forgot the meaning of Ash Wednesday:

Ash Wednesday is the start of Lent that lasts 40 days and 40 nights [not including Sundays.] The ashes that go on our forehead are from the Palms from the previous year. Typically during the season of Lent, people make a Lenten promise to sacrifice something for God, for 40 days and nights. By doing this we are acting like Jesus, he spent 40 days and nights in the desert and rejected temptation from Satan.

I love Easter time :)
I hope everyone made their Lenten promises!!!
Mine is to stick to Atkins, and maybe cheat on some Sundays ;)
